#MondayMotivation What gets you out of bed each morning? What do you look forward to throughout the day? . The number one thing that will guarantee get my sloth-like lazy self out of bed is coffee ☕🤗 Cold, hot, frap, latte, espresso, cappuccino, black with creamer #gottahavethemall #coffeeaddict On the mat: I nerd out on my home practice and get really elated working on the next asana breakthrough. Or if I'm scheduled to be at @cherryblossomyoga I look forward to seeing all the students come through the door and experience yoga for the 1st or 100th time. . Off the mat: Cuddles time with my doggos @rusty_and_kyra is always the best thing to look forward to because pupper snuggles are the besterest. But besides that I've noticed that each day provides me with a different motivation. Right now I'm looking forward to my Asia trip so I have been Panic packing and stress cleaning and manic organizing to get everything done before we leave Thursday morning. Trying to figure out how to not pack all the things and to make sure the houses in order for our amazing dog sitters. Therefore henceforth....ALL THE COFFEE MUST BE CONSUMED 😈 #yogamotivation #dailymotivation . #wearyourmat Huge shoutout to @yogapaws for helping me with my daily #yogspiration
“The mind is everything. What you think you become.” — Buddha . . Last year my yoga goal was to nail my handstand and I don't want to lose that momentum so here's to #handstands365 in 2018 with allllll the different variations to keep me challenged! Each day I will practice being upside down even if just for a few minutes or against the wall or when the opportunity strikes (like stag legs today at the stunning Singapore Botanic Gardens in The Orchids Garden - see previous post for Day 1 with Scorpion Legs) . . My lack of consistency is what always halts my yoga progress. Making excuses as to why I can't make it to yoga class or do a home practice ends this year. Yoga is my personal time and I need to be more selfish with my "me" time. Which in turn means improving my time management skills and learning to say 'no' as to not spread myself too thin. Reprioritize and declutter because each year is an improvement and continuation of the progress and mistakes. Being in Asia these past 4 weeks has really helped me remember my roots and what is precious to me. My time on this earth is limited so I should make the best of it in everything I do.

@changiairport in of itself is an attraction! It is one of the prettiest, cleanest, and most entertaining airports I've ever encountered. And expensive. Made the mistake of buying some dark chocolate popcorn (because sugar is yummy) and it was $14 for a medium sized bag 😨😵 The Enchanted Garden and Orchid Garden made up for my overpriced sugar bombs though. Day 4 of my #handstands365 Our month-long trip is coming to an end! Only 4 more airports/cities until home! #changiairport #singapore #buddhapants
